quick fit tip #1: take before pictures

Hey everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend and you're ready to kick butt in the gym and in the kitchen this week!!!

I wanted to start this week off by sharing my first of many Quick Fit Tips: make sure you take before pictures when you embark on your fitness journey or decide to start working towards a new goal!

This step is so important because often times we don't feel that we're making progress, when in reality, we are! We see ourselves every day, so it's hard for us to notice the large changes in our bodies that happen over time. Often times, this lack of seeing results can cause us to lose motivation and hope in whatever we're trying to achieve, so we end up giving up way too early!! Taking before pictures is a GREAT way to see your actual progress and keep you on track to reaching your goals.

I recommend taking before pictures towards the beginning of starting a new fitness goal. If your goals are long term, you can have many "before" pictures, with each one being a better and more transformed version of the previous photo. Either way, it's nice to be able to look back, and feel proud of yourself for how far you've come.

Still not convinced? Here's one set of my before and after pics (this one focusing on my glute growth)! My full fitness journey and transformation story will be posted soon!:)
