workout wednesday: today's essentials

It's hump day!! What better way to spend it than in the gym building up your bootay?!

Today's workout focused on resistance training to tone and shape the hips, thighs, and glutes!

Here's the exact workout straight from the program I designed (and follow!):

 

WORKOUT E:

Resistance Band Super Set [3x16]:

Clam

Monster Walks

Side Step

Side Lunge

Glute Kickback Pulses [3x20]

Single Leg Hip Thrusts [3x12]

Fire Hydrants [2x15]

Back Extension [3x10]

 

The burn was seriously CRAZY today!! I always make sure to drink my protein shake within 30 minutes of my workout and then have a big meal with lots of carbs and protein to replenish my body!!
